fe-safe™ User Group Meeting 2010

Safe Technology is pleased to announce the 5th fe-safe™ User Group Meeting!

fe-safe™ User Group Meeting:
The fe-safe™ UGM is ahighly respected event that brings together leading fe-safe™ and safe4fatigue™ users and fatigue experts from around the world. We will be offering a valuable day of presentations from fe-safe™ users and Safe Technology’s specialist engineers, that educate and encourage designers and analysts to use modern fatigue analysis and design simulation methods in order to meet increasing industrial demands.

The User Group Meeting gives you the opportunity to network with other fe-safe™ users and learn from their experiences. This is also your chance to show your fellow fatiguers how you and your company are using fe-safe™ as part of your design process to solve real-life industrial fatigue problems, reduce material and resource costs, warranty claims and time to market - and gain competitive advantage.

Perhaps you have a research area that you would like to present and open up for discussion...why not take advantage of having some of the world's leading fatigue engineers all in one room to share ideas, expand knowledge and develop best practices in your field?

Join a distinguished group of fatigue analysts and submit your presentation abstract today. Written papers are always welcomed but not obligatory!

Past keynote speakers have included: Prof Steve Tipton from The University of Tulsa, USA; Prof David Taylor from Trinity College, Ireland; and Prof Greg Glinka from The University of Waterloo, Canada.

Safe Technology is delighted to announce Professor Norman Dowling as the keynote speaker for the 5th fe-safe™ User Group Meeting, 2010. Professor Dowling’s keynote presentation will address Mean Stress Effects in Stress-life and Strain-life Fatigue.

Past UGMs have included papers on a diverse range of fatigue related issues from companies such as Caterpillar, Cummins, Emerson, Eaton, Dana, Volvo Trucks, Paccar, Battelle, Schaeffler, Bechtel Bettis, General Motors, and Medtronic Inc.

This year, we are again interested in papers looking at the application of fe-safe™ across a broad range of industries, applications and research areas.
