safe4fatigue™ has been used to produce durability test signals and test spectra for vehicle-mounted medical equipment. Medical body-scanners are mounted in hospital trucks to act as mobile facilities. Accelerations, strains and deflections were measured during extensive road trials. safe4fatigue™ was used to filter the signals and then calculate PSD’s, peak-hold PSD’s, and gain diagrams for the vehicle suspension, so that the fatigue damage from different road surfaces could be compared. Fatigue analysis from the PSD’s and from the signals were used to derive multiaxial test command signals for accelerated testing of individual components. |
safe4fatigue™ is used to monitor fatigue lives and deflections on major road bridges. Strain gauges on the bridge structure are monitored 24 hours a day, and fatigue damage for each day is calculated automatically. Continuous monitoring over many months shows the effects of rush hour traffic, temperature changes and axle loading on the daily accumulation of fatigue damage. |

Boss Trucks use safe4fatigue™ to validate the durability of each new fork-life truck. safe4fatigue™ interfaces to a Micro Movements data acquisition system. safe4fatigue™ calculates fatigue lives from strain gauge records recorded over the Boss Trucks proving circuit. |
