Unsurpassed performance...

We’re dedicated to going bigger and faster, without compromising accuracy.

Accelerate your fatigue analysis with faster interfaces and improved solution times. Benefit from threading to multi-core processors – support for up to 8 cores per processor is included in a standard licence at no additional cost. Distributed processing is also available for running fe safe on HPC and ad hoc clusters. Dataset support has been expanded to handle very long loading sequences. Working files have been re engineered to handle huge FE models and optimised for high performance and reduced solution times.

fe-safe 6

Improved productivity...

Project-based files and settings and a new GUI - redesigned for your ease of use.

fe safe 6.0 has a fresh new GUI, with many dialogues redesigned to improve clarity, consistency and ease of use. The FE model tree has been refined for a clearer display of model data. Project-based files and settings and auto-saved job settings makes working on multiple projects straightforward. A new ‘High Level Loading Definition File’ (HLDF), designed especially for very complex loads with huge numbers of datasets, or where the number of FE solutions is unknown, makes load definition a breeze, and saves time.

Workbench

Improved Usability...

fe-safe™ Component for ANSYS Workbench

The fe-safe™ component for ANSYS Workbench enables the integration of design durability in the ANSYS Workbench Project Environment and allows for fe-safe™ to either be inserted into an existing project schematic in Workbench or defined as a standalone system. Fatigue analyses can be conducted from within Workbench including features available in Workbench such as parameterisation and optimisation.

Isight

fe-safe™ Component for Isight

The fe-safe™ component for Isight enables the integration of design durability in the simulation process flow and allows for fe-safe™ to either be inserted into an existing simulation workflow or define its own, with subsequent analyses (parametric studies, DOE, optimizations etc.) being conducted from within Isight.

Leading fatigue analysis methods...

New analysis methods for faster and more accurate fatigue solutions!

fe safe 6 introduces a re-engineered solver for threading analyses to multi-core processors. Hotspot analysis helps you investigate design features and critical areas quickly and in greater depth, while new Critical Distance methods allow stress gradients to be used to assess notch sensitivity. A new Custom Module Framework enables users to develop and implement custom plugin analysis modules leveraging fe safe’s powerful features and capabilities for in-house fatigue methods.
